Elder Michael Washington

Elder Michael Washington, a native of Detroit, Michigan, now residing in Morristown,  is a devoted husband to Susie Washington and is employed by Parker-Hannifin Corporation. He is the son of Gordon Washington and the late Darlene Washington.

Elder Washington was raised in the church but strayed away after his mother passed away at an early age.  While attending Tabernacle Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Tennessee, he re-dedicated his life back to the Lord in August 2004 after hearing from God through prophesy by Pastor Willie Thompson of Indiana, which changed his life forever. Elder Washington accepted his call into the ministry after much running from the Lord, and preached his first sermon September 3, 2006 at Abundant Life Church; he received his Certificate of License on December 17, 2006 and his Certificate of Ordination on August 15, 2010; all under the watchful care of  Pastor James Goins. 

Elder Washington is an anointed and gifted man of God whom God uses to expound and minister the Gospel in a very powerful and authoritative manner. He is very active in the evangelist field, a journey in the ministry of the Lord which he is honored to be a servant. He also serves as a Sunday School teacher for the Adult Class and a Youth Leader for the Youth Ministry.

Elder Washington has a great love for people and his goal is to edify the body of Christ, which is why he is dedicated to the battlefield of the Lord for wining souls and setting the captives free and encouraging them to commit themselves to the Gospel.  He continues to be a bold speaker for the Lord and a willing vessel to be used by the Lord however the Lord chooses.
